THE TABLE
The Table is more than just a restaurant — we’re an intimate, once per night, multi-course, all local, ever-changing celebration of Canadian food & wine, and the people behind it all.
We’re on a humble & continuous journey to discover and define Canada’s terroir by using 100% Canadian ingredients and only pouring Canadian wine. That means you won’t see lemons, limes, black pepper, cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla, etc. on any of our menus.
Dinner at The Table embodies our commitment to proudly showing off the ingredients & people of Prince Edward Island. Each evening we offer a single-seating 7 course set menu dining experience for up to 28 people. Our 7 course tasting menu changes top-to-bottom every week, and is revealed only once you arrive. Doing this allows us to ensure we’re only ever using the absolute best ingredients the island has to offer us in any given week.
We feel very fortunate to share the best of PEI with our guests each evening. As each course leaves the kitchen, our chefs will take the time to share the story of each dish and the people behind them.
We can’t wait to welcome you to The Table!
THE VENUE
The former New London United Church that now houses The Table was built in 1953 through the generous donations of its members and supporters. In recognition of that community commitment, every effort has been made to preserve the building’s distinctive architectural features and to honour its origins, creating a true wow factor.
Exposed trusses and streams of natural light radiating through stained glass windows establish a leisurely atmosphere of relaxation. The original pulpit built by Marshall Constable has been incorporated into the 2nd story wine loft that overlooks the dining room. A custom-built spiral staircase leads up to the bell tower that now houses an extensive cookbook library. The Table’s side yard space offers a pastoral landscape view that must be seen to be fully appreciated – a panorama for photographers and other artists.
