Our Home

Victoria Row (or Vic Row to locals) is an iconic cobblestone walkway in the heart of downtown Charlottetown. This bustling thoroughfare is lined with trees, boutique shops, tourist attractions, cafes, and a bandstand where live music plays throughout the summer months. We proudly call Vic Row home.

Walk through the archways at Vic Row to find our storied brick and stone building. Built in the 1880s with a distinct Italianate architecture style, The Brown Block underwent many evolutions over the years – including a fire in 1884 which destroyed almost the entire Vic Row. The Brown Block is a reminder of the commercial heritage of Charlottetown, with a nod to Italy in its decorative style reminiscent of the Venetian arcades of the Renaissance era. We proudly maintain many of the original features of this historic building.
